Introducing The Well Worn Reworked Denim Jacket—a truly unique, one-of-a-kind piece that combines timeless style with artisanal craftsmanship. This jacket features visible sashiko-style topstitch mending in a classic ecru thread on the cuffs and back yoke, adding texture and a heritage-inspired touch.

With a comfortable 36" size, it measures 100cm at the chest, 56cm in length, 42cm at the hem, and 63cm overarm. Each jacket is individually crafted, making it a distinctive addition to your wardrobe that celebrates sustainable fashion and creative rework.

The art of mending to prolong the life of a garment or object is at the heart of what we do. In our Winchester studio we use a mix of Sashiko and Boro techniques. Sashiko stitch is an antidote to the fast fashion world. It is used to reinforce points of wear on a garment and to repair worn places or tears with patches - creating Boro.  The running stitch is also used for decorative purposes. Textiles stitched and repaired in this way can be said to embrace the concept of ‘Wabi Sabi'.
